New official promises growth at Xerox
A growing number of mothers with young children are choosing to supplement their income with their personal computers, a new poll has found.
Research by Kodak Europe found that many parents are setting up offices in their homes in order to generate extra money throughout the economic downturn.
The study showed that mothers are using the internet to carry out secretarial work, manage the accounts of other businesses or writing product reviews for websites.
Kodak Europe said some are taking this new means of earning money so seriously that they are purchasing office supplies to create a proper workspace.
Enrico Bradamante, spokesperson for the company, commented: "Low-cost office equipment is readily available and in addition to providing good value for money these products also offer superb quality."
The study comes shortly after interior design expert Judith Wilson recommended that homeworkers ensure that their office space is smart and laid out effectively.
