Kyocera announces MFP range

Kyocera Mita has announced the launch of its new TASKalfa series of colour multifunctional printers (MFP). According to the company, the new models contain a number of innovations that could make it a highly useful office resource. For example, they provide a high level of power, performance and reliability, as well as what it describes as "exceptional" image quality. Kyocera has also commended the MFP series for its consistency, which it has attributed to its new colour engine.

The firm revealed that this features 8-bit colour output and its pioneering new micro-particle toner. This, it said, helps reduce the amount of power it consumes while it is operating, which means businesses that opt for an MFP model could find it helps them to reduce their carbon footprint.

Kyocera was recently commended for its own efforts in helping the environment when it received the Carbon Trust Standard award - the replacement for the Energy Efficiency Accreditation scheme.
