New official promises growth at Xerox
A former rugby player has been appointed as Xerox's new general manager for office products in the UK.
Mark Duffelen, who played professionally with Wasps and Leicester, has been working in the sector for the last two decades.
He will be charged with the responsibility of stimulating further growth in the business over the next few years, reports PrintWeek.
Commenting on his new role, Mr Duffelen said: "Customers and partners will see a continuation of our strategy of bringing smarter devices, applications and services to market that measurably help organisations meet their business objectives."
He added that the company has "ambitious" plans to grow its office supplies sector significantly between now and 2012.
Xerox earned more than 230 industry awards last year, 20 per cent more than during 2007.
This included awards from Buyers Laboratory Inc for technical innovation and colour image quality in its printers.
