Employers buy in to hygiene message
AF International, Europe’s leading manufacturer of specialist computer and equipment cleaning products, says employers are now more aware of the importance of work space and equipment cleaning, and providing a healthier environment for their staff to work in.
The company says in the last six months, with the economic crises and the downturn in economy, people are generally working longer hours, performing additional tasks and commonly spending more time at work. Employers have reacted accordingly.
Employers are also working to meet the standards of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and have a responsibility to provide a place of work where risks to employee health and safety are properly controlled, stopping them from getting hurt at work.
