Entrepreneurs urged to budget for stationery
People who are setting up their own business have been advised to budget accordingly for their stationery purchases.
According to financial advice website The Motley Fool, a growing number of Britons are turning to self-employment in order to cope with the economic downturn. However, the online portal said entrepreneurs need to take various issues into account when setting up a new enterprise. For example, it recommended that businesses try to keep make the best use of their money and have a savings cushion they can fall back on.
This, it stated, would mean that work expenses such as stationery purchases have to be affordable and within the company's budget. Business have already been encouraged to combine this approach with an eco-friendly stance, as Dr Michael Gell of Xanfeon recently told ClimateChangeCorp businesses to look at buying recycled paper.
The Motley Fool added that entrepreneurs should make sure they keep various documents, such as tax records and bank statements, in clearly-marked folders.
