Ricoh partners with IBM
Digital office equipment supplier Ricoh has announced that it is entering into a partnership with IBM. The strategic alliance with the computer manufacturer will allow them to pool their resources to create new innovations.
These will be developed in response to what Ricoh described as "complex business problems" among its customers.
In particular, it hopes that they will be able to produce more integrated technologies that will allow enterprises to get a rapid return on their investment.
Hede Nonaka, spokesperson for Ricoh, commented: "We are very excited to combine Ricoh's leadership in digital office equipment with IBM's expansive technology portfolio."
He added that the alliance also allows the two companies to provide innovative solutions that meet the various demands in the business sector.
This comes shortly after Ricoh confirmed that it had completed the takeover of US firm IKON Office Solutions.
