BOSS Federation (www.bossfederation.co.uk) held its Annual General Meeting last Friday at The Paper Trail, Hemel Hempstead followed by a Joint Forum which had the theme of ‘How to Stay Out of Jail' and was a taster for series of Regional Seminars which are being held in September, October and November where the themes touched upon yesterday will be discussed in more depth.
"We were delighted to welcome over 20 member companies, as well as some non-member companies to the event," said Michael Gardner, BOSS chief executive. "The Joint Forum gave delegates an idea of what is on now on offer and generated a significant amount of interest. A number of BOSS members, who have used the services already were very pleased to give testimony to the new BOSS organisation. The Forum also gave delegates a chance to meet up with the BPIF/BOSS front-line people providing the services."
It was announced at the AGM that Duncan Savage, MD Staedtler UK was stepping down as vice chairman but remains on the BOSS executive board and that Philip Beer, MD of Hamelin Paperbrands has been appointed as his replacement. The board expressed its thanks to Duncan Savage for his service to the federation during its recent changes.
