SPICERS LAUNCH 2011 DEALER MARKETING PROGRAMME
Date Published: 12/07/2010
Spicers is today launching its new Dealer Marketing Programme for 2011. The new programme aims to give dealers best in class marketing tools to help increase sales and grow their customer base.
The new portfolio of solutions aims to make the task of selecting and ordering the right product easier for the end user. A major investment in research during the early part of 2010, interviewing 500 office products purchasers, has informed many of the changes to Spicers’ 2011 portfolio of publications and will continue to drive changes in the tools available to the dealers to deliver business growth.
The Big Book offers customer over 18,000 products in an easy-to-navigate catalogue with features including ‘how to choose’ guides, complementary products located together and a comprehensive product and brand index to help customers find the products they need.
Dedicated catalogues focusing on the two categories of business machines and facilities management have been introduced for 2011, to provide dealers with the tools to broaden their product offering and effectively compete against more established specialist competitors in the market.
In addition to the Big Book and specialist catalogues, other publications include the Midi Catalogue, which focuses on the best selling products and features a fresh new page design reflecting the feedback from the research; the 5 Star™ Catalogue, offering customers value for money alternatives to the leading brands; the Green Book, which helps dealers provide consultative guidance to help their customers create a more sustainable working environment; and the Interiors Catalogue, which has a much improved design to make ranges clearer and make it even easier to choose which products will best create the customer’s ideal office environment.
Online solutions include an extended range of digital Flicki catalogues. Click-n-Print now encompasses both an email and print marketing module, in addition to the new knowledge module, delivering a host of marketing materials from branded product suppliers including flyers, specification sheets, web banners and videos. All online tools come with full support and training from Spicers.
Jane Rowe, Marketing & Communications Director, Spicers UK, says: “Businesses are demanding a broader range of products from their core supplier, simplifying ordering and reducing paperwork and resource requirements for their company. We have put together a comprehensive set of online and offline marketing materials to ensure extensive product coverage within a number of focus categories, to help our dealers meet all their customers’ office product needs and grow their business, profitably, throughout 2011.”
