SPICERS ANNOUNCES UK’S LARGEST TOURING FURNITURE ROADSHOW

Date Published: 14/01/2010

Spicers, Europe’s leading wholesaler of office products, has announced the dates of its Furnology Roadshow, the UK’s largest touring show in the office products market.

From 2nd – 18th February, the Roadshow will visit ten locations across the UK, providing salespeople with the opportunity to experience Spicers’ furniture range and services, and to check out the great new products for 2010. Eight live office layouts – including bistro, systems, designer and budget – will allow dealers to view the features up close. Experts will then be on hand to equip sales teams with the relevant knowledge to help them become more effective advisors to their customers, and maximise sales of furniture products.

David Orr, Director of Furniture Sales at Spicers UK, says: “Whether dealers are looking to refresh their knowledge or expand their product portfolio, Furnology will provide them with the relevant tools to do it. Furniture is one of the most profitable sectors in the market, and we want to help our dealers gain competitive advantage in this area by maintaining a sustainable furniture range as part of their product portfolio.”

Dealers will be able to take away a comprehensive toolkit containing all the information they need, from margin management to finance options and marketing materials. For those looking for an off-the-shelf approach, Spicers turnkey solutions will be on display so dealers can see firsthand how these solutions work.

The Roadshow showcases “New for 2010” furniture ranges  from popular brands such as Eyas, Fiz, Curva, Sonix Bench and Ardenne as well as onsite presentations from steel storage product makers, Bisley.  The Flicki Interiors Catalogue is also returning for the second year running, available to trial at the show.

There will be free prize draw for the chance to win an LCD TV’s at each event. Simply complete the questionnaire at the show and guess how long the ‘DABS’ installation team take to build a furniture suite from scratch.
