SPICERS EUROPEAN PURCHASING TEAM WELCOMES NEW DIRECTORS

Spicers, Europe’s leading wholesaler of office products, is delighted to announce new appointments to the European purchasing team.
European Purchasing Director
Rob Abrahams will join Spicers as European Purchasing Director with responsibility for the European Purchasing Team and all European suppliers, replacing Stewart Barton-Taylor following his departure earlier in the year. Rob was previously Purchasing Director for Bunzl Cleaning & Hygiene Supplies and most recently Bunzl Catering. He has also chaired the Bunzl UK Purchasing Team and is currently a member of the Bunzl Global Purchasing Executive.
Rob will join the team by 1st October. In the meantime, Scott Walker will continue to head up the European Purchasing Team.
Director of Purchasing - FM
To strengthen Spicers’ expertise in Purchasing and Facilities Management in particular, Anil Alim has been appointed as Director of Purchasing for FM. Anil was Commercial Director of Punch Taverns before running a purchasing consultancy for the last four years. Anil will be working closely with John Fenton, UK Merchandising Director, to develop and implement the FM strategy across the company. Anil joined Spicers on 7th June.
European Purchasing Manager – Traditional Office Supplies
Peter Kaemer, previously European Purchasing Manager for FM will be moving to work with Scott Walker on traditional office supplies.
